Restaurant Reviews

If music is the food of love, what is the love of food?

Chinese people first ask if you're full, before anything else. It is equivalent of saying "how are you?"

I tell my friends that I'm a food hacker. I try to suss out the ingredients and then imitate the result. To cook the best food, I need to eat at the best restaurants.

Some of the best food are served in some of the worst environments. For instance, I had a simple Thai meal in an alleyway in Bangkok. Beneath my bench was a hungry dog. For me, it was the most authentic sticky rice, Som Tom papaya salad, and stir fried pork with fresh sweet basil and chilli.
