A kitten was probably the best gift from my friend Jackie, whose cat had given birth to a litter of six. I visited the six-week old little ginger bundle to bond with it. When I brought him home, he was so scared at first. Then he started following me everywhere. I took him to the vet when he turned six months old for his eunuch operation. I now understood what unconditional love was. No matter what partially dead animal he brought back, I wouldn't punish him for dirtying the house. Then I learned that I was allergic to cats. That's when he went off with the other woman. And out of love, I gave him away.
