INSPIRED BY A MOMENTLife is a journey. We are all seekers. Of what? I wondered recently if it is happiness we seek or answers to our questions. Maybe both. But if we become more and more self-sufficient and knowledgeable through our experience and education, what else could we possibly need or want? Inspiration. I seek that moment of truth. It could be an idea. It could be a conversation that ignites a sudden thought. It could be the look on a person's face that stirs my blood or imagination. One fleeting moment is all that it takes to inspire me to write, compose, or generate some business idea. Today I experienced such a moment - to write a new kind of poem. The moment stimulated my senses: visual, nasal, taste, touch, sound. How do I capture all of this in a poem? |
