The Diary
|
READING IN THE SUNThe day started with blue skies that peeked through my window. I went out to see the sun unblemished by any clouds. It was going to be a beautiful day, and yet I had no idea what I was going to do. This was the kind of day I'd spend outside all day long. This was how I spent my previous English summers. I took my articles and magazines to the pool side. The boring articles made me doze off. The interesting ones I stayed awake by outlining and taking notes. Soon other people in my apartment complex got the picture. They came out to join me, next to the unused pool and jaccuzzi. The sun is my friend. One day, I will not be able to hide inside while the sun is out. One day, I will simply detest having to be inside. |
YesterdayTomorrowI wrote this. And then saved over it by mistake. This is a recap. |
