The Full Moon Concert
Ever since I discovered Gabriel Faure's Clair de Lune, I've been wanting
to put together a programme of pieces about the moon.
Tonight I invited my friends to drive more than 200 miles through the
Welsh mountains to come to this full moon concert in Pwllheli, North Wales.
But the moon was not the only one that was full. The night was full
of pregnant anticipation while I played on a full stomach.
Never again will I attempt to perform right after a full meal or to
cook, clean, and prepare for a concert in which I play the first pieces.
