Poem I

I live for tomorrow

For I cannot enjoy today

Within my deep sorrow

I now dare to say:

Life in its complexity

Is a pathless road

I in my tranquility

Problems burden my load.

I cannot endure, I confess

Speechless, I remain

Overladen in distress.

Helpless I try in vain.

Hope, I cannot see

Here or beyond

Even less of that in me

Of which I am not fond.

No laugh or cry

Come from me

Tearless I sigh

Come help me see.
