Songs all at http://bootnewt.tripod.com/enronsongs.htm Here
are a few byBill Tong (submitted to analyticalQ 24 July 2002)(Sung to the tune of "Downtown" by Petula Clark) Parody
by Bill Tong(instrumental intro) Ken Lay cashed out, as did executives
only, Workers took the blow - Enron. Spins in a hurry; all Bush Boy does
is worry. Makes him yelp: "Oh no! Enron!" Bush cronies are
recusing; Their denials aren't too witty. Listen to their snide talk,
As they shower Lay with pity. It's just a ruse... The Right is
much frightened there. They're in a world of trouble, Just like Enron's
shares, Which sunk Enron... now Enrongate is here, Enron... on Bush's
face, see fear, Enron... waiting to eat W. (Sung during instrumental
break:) (Enron... Enron... Enron... Enron...) Enron hit ground, now
all their problems astound you. Their corruptions shows - Enron. Financial
hole - make them replace what they stole. Despair and dreams foreclosed -
Enron. These crooks should rot in prison, But instead, they're glossing
over. They're just "enhancing revenue." No oversight makeover.
Scandals again... The Right is much frightened there. They're in
a world of trouble, Just like Enron's shares, Which sunk Enron... no legal
oversight. Enron... past payoffs to the Right. Enron... there's gonna
be a fight now. (instrumental break) With corporate crime, no one
does time, and that's really a scandal. The donors coo, "Hey W, we like
pulling your handle... We can't go wrong..." The Right is much
frightened there. They're in a world of trouble, Just like Enron's shares,
Which sunk Enron... Enron is now done for. Enron... right wing is getting
sore. Enron... waiting to eat W. Enron... Enron... Enron... Enron...
(instrumental fade)
(Sung to the tune of "Titanic {Husbands & Wives}")
Parody by Bill Tong (instrumental intro) Oh, the giant firm
named Enron seemed to crash out of the blue. It was under leadership of a
buddy of W. Ken Lay pulled off theft so grand; was the worst in all this land.
It was bad men who have now brought Enron down.
(Sung to the tune of "Clementine") Parody by Bill
Tong (instrumental intro) Now in tatters, Enron ruined. Fraud
committed all that time. Such disasters by their masters, Lay and Skilling
did the crime. Lay and Skilling, Lay and Skilling Should be serving prison
time. Prosecute them? Maybe never. They may do no prison time. |
