LUNCHTIME CONVERSATION
At lunch, I tried to make conversation about my first-hand experience of energy use in Africa.
"When I was in Kenya earlier this year ..." I began.
"Your company certainly pays you well to send you to exotic places."
"Well, not really. I was there on holiday," I defended myself.
"Even better. You can afford to pay for it."
"Actually, I was working only one day a week then."
"Only one day a week? and you can afford to fly all the way there?"
